Why should I use a mobile bike repair service?
Convenience. As a former high-tech executive, I fully understand how valuable your time is to you and your family. Let me worry about maintaining your favorite exercise machine – your bike. Also, considering the turnover rate of bike shop mechanics, wouldn’t it be nice to have your bike maintained by somebody who knows it inside out?
Why should I use Bay Area Mobile Bike Repair as my mobile bike service? Because of my previously mentioned experience, I fully understand the importance of delivering to your expectations. I charge a bit more because I’m committed to delivering beyond your demanding expectations or your purchase is free. I operate a state-of-the-art bicycle repair shop and, as a graduate of the Barnett Bicycle Institute, I can perform all bike repair procedures. Of course I’m licensed, insured, and bonded. BAMBR is also a green operation; all solvents and cleaners are biodegradable and I leave the work site cleaner than I found it. Lastly, BAMBR will only conduct business with companies that support alternative transportation programs and healthy lifestyles.
Describe a transaction with BAMBR. You bet. You can leverage me either as a concierge or an on-site repair service. For work performed on-site, you’re welcome to watch as I love teaching folks how to better enjoy their riding experience. I do ask for a $40.00 minimum charge for individual on-site appointments. If you’d rather I not work on your bike on-site, I’m happy to pick it up and drop it off at the time and location of your choosing (this includes your car’s roof rack at work if you so desire). Payment is expected upon completion of the work and can be in the form of cash, check, or I'll be glad to invoice your payment. I'm sorry I don't accept credit cards any longer. As you probably all know - either as consumers or sellers - the cost of using credit cards is very expensive and I, for one, will not continue to contribute to the credit card industry any longer (ask me for the story sometime over a beer and I'll explian!). What guarantees/warranties will I receive from BAMBR?
All work is unconditionally guaranteed or your money back. Parts are guaranteed by BAMBR for 90 days; after that, they’re warranted by their manufacturer. I also leverage a quality improvement process that allows me to engineer quality into my operation from step one.
